About Once a Month
Originally set up at the University of Manchester, Once a Month is a collection of student-led volunteer projects that work to alleviate period poverty. Each month, our branches hold packing sessions in which we pack bags containing period products and hygiene items and deliver them to various charities. With an array of fundraising events and volunteer projects, we welcome you to join our endeavours aimed at giving menstruators a little more dignity during their periods, by providing the products they need. So far, we have supported homeless people, those on the poverty line, refugees, asylum seekers and victims of domestic abuse and hope to be able to support even more people.
